Dear Potential Volunteer
Thank you for expressing an interest in becoming a volunteer at Open Door. As your name is on our waiting list to attend an information session, please note that the date of the next session is on Tuesday the 12 th February 6.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. I am aware that some of you were unable to attend our previous session on the 25 th January.
For those of you attending the Information Session, and wishing to move to the next stage of our recruitment programme , the Recruitment Day is on the 15 th February - 10.30 a.m. - 6.15 p.m. approximately . You will need to complete a volunteer application form and these will be available for you at the Information Session.
This Recruitment day is to recruit volunteers to undertake our Initial Training Programme which will begin towards the end of March or the beginning of April . The Initial Training Programme is 80 hours of training . This is usually spread over approximately 10 weeks, one day per week (Friday) and some weekend days. All this will be explained in more detail at the Information Session.
If you wish to attend this Information Session, you will need to complete and return the slip below , or alternatively you can all me on my direct line: 0121 454 1118. I will need confirmation of your attendance by Monday the 11 th February.
